Our Story

Bethany Bible Seminary was founded in 1999 with a vision to equip men and women for effective Christian ministry. For over two decades plus, we have been committed to providing high-quality biblical education that is both academically rigorous and spiritually transformative.

Our seminary is rooted in the rich tradition of biblical scholarship while embracing innovative approaches to theological education. We believe in fostering a community where faith and intellect intersect, preparing our students to navigate the complexities of modern ministry.

President & Chancellor

Bishop (Dr.) Miracle Vincent Fidelis has had a distinguished career in various fields, including ministry, education, and business. He received a divine instruction to establish Bethany Bible Seminary in 1999, which has since become a reality.

Education:

  • PhD in Psychology from Wind of the Spirit Bible Seminary, Florida, USA
  • BSc in Marketing from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria
  • Certificate/Diploma from International Pentecostal International Bible Seminary
  • Diploma in Journalism from ICS Scranton, USA
  • Honorary Doctoral Award of Doctor of Divinity from Nigeria

Ministry Career Milestones:

  • Ordained as a Pastor on June 18, 1987, in the USA
  • Promoted to Reverend in 2000
  • Appointed as an Apostle in 2013
  • Elected as a Bishop in November 2014
  • Consecrated as a Bishop on June 21, 2015

Apostle (Dr.) Precious Igbunu Umukoro

Dean of Academic Studies / Registrar

Apostle Dr. Precious Igbunu Umukoro has dedicated many years to pastoral ministry, driven by an unwavering passion for God's kingdom. He has served the body of Christ in various capacities, pursuing excellence in his ministerial calling.

Education:

  • Multiple certificates and four diplomas in Theology and ministerial acts from reputable bible institutions
  • Three Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theology, Christian Education, and Christian Counseling
  • Master of Arts degrees in Theology and Guidance and Counseling
  • Doctorate degrees in Philosophy and Theology
